A tiny idea of what is to come

Published January 20th, 2008 in 2000-2011 | 7 Comments ยป

I am finally an adult, with real, nice adult furniture. I told E that he is turning 30 and he needs to shed the cheapo furniture image he had in his head.

I got a new coffee, end table, and tv stand in dark espresso wood, and a new shower curtain, towels, bath mat, trash can (it’s pretty!), duvet and comforter. I am also in the lead to buy a new shower head, rug, and will have to buy like 12 or 13 curtains for every window. I am tres excited.

I got Eddie to go to a real furniture store and get us a new microfiber couch. This is what I am talkin about….

Nice. Bryan said the same to me as you said to E when he stepped into my old apartment. He’d been a grown-up for quite some time by then. I still had Sauder furniture and a bed with no frame/headboard.

If you haven’t, sign up for Bed Bath & Beyond coupons to come to your house. Sign up for you, and for Eddie. Then hoard them- they’re 20% off and you can get them via email as well. Then, buy your curtains there. I can’t TELL you how many hundreds of dollars we saved that way. We have a lot of windows and those panels and rods add up. If you want to see pics of the inside of our house, curtains and all- http://tinyurl.com/2oyxsb

Just scroll down past the wedding or lampshade stuff.

Thanks lady. my net at work stinks so I cannot peruse. I spent most of yesterday in JC hanging with old friends. It is exciting to redecorate, that’s for sure.

my friends have been laughing at my domesticated effort into finding furniture.

it’s fun…but I will be relieved when it is over.

I’m jealous, I’d love to have a real sofa but I’d never get it through the narrow door way to my narrow living room so I’m still stuck with a futon. I am, however, planning on getting rid of some shelving and adding some additional seating.

the space in the doors has always prevented us in the past. Hopefully this fucker will fit. but who knows?

      happy organizing!!!
