so many people…really, so much time
Huh. I have been thinking lately a lot about connections, time and the number of people that can come in and out of a life–and really it’s almost depressing when I think about the number of people I have come across in my life, the phone numbers and emails I had but never used, the un-milked friendships because life was always in the way. It’s like I am in some ways the world’s loneliest person who used to have way way more friends than I do now. And in NY that is a hell of a lot more people than the average person would sticking local to their hometowns–so many so many people.
One thing I have never been attached to was that idea of home town and now nobody in my family lives there anyways, and the friends I do have, or did, don’t seem to be the kinds of friends I will know for a lifetime not aided by social media since yeah. No. We all have these somewhat superficial incarnations in each other’s life sometimes. It happens, and as we get older I am sure they can be formed less and less.
I need to get out of this apartment and somewhere I want to be, which is in a big loft downtown. Normally I would say this type of endeavor should be on the someday list but the loft has been in my sights since 2001–and now that I am one foot in the grave it seems like a good time to make my sweet life happen. I don’t see any reason to not do it if we can make these things happen between the two of us. Between that and accomplishing the new business plan, I swear I would not bitch about Trump ever again.
Nope. That is a lie. I do not think businessmen should be in government with no history of charitable giving or cause. You want America’s number one value to be money, keep rewarding billionaires and the people keeping you glimmered to hate Mexicans while they take all the liquid money out of circulation and tell you it’s Mexicans’ faults you cannot make money like they do because they are stealing your $20/hr IT jobs in droves. I do not think businessmen should be in government because then they do unethical things like throw a bunch of people off healthcare, really to save money you realize so we can all commit suicide because that’s what happens when you remove all help and hope. And that is what happens when you signal you are cool with doing that not to save lives, no, but because if they kill you with neglect, it is far cheaper. It is also far less icky than shooting you in the face to them, but I bet some people understand that sentiment all too well–sometimes a bullet to the head would be the more honest, humane outcome. You hate your fellow Americans that much, you just want them to die faster? Some of you definitely do and the positions you take definitely would result in that. This is all about money–and if we all didn’t worship it so much, we might be able to really see that nothing everything with social value is profitable and not everything profitable has social value. Hard concept until you think about–where is my tax money going? Does 90% go to helping and developing all of my fellow Americans? Nope. It doesn’t.
I will write my article about not electing a businessman to represent the interests of the common man because I do have a lot of apt points and really, unless one of these democrats grows a spine, and actually says, no, we don’t need billionaires governing us, we demand not to be “not represented” by someone who cannot remember what it was like to be average–well, the other side will continue to incite the what makes us all different vs what makes us all the same spiteful bullshit really, so many Americans should be fucking ashamed to participate in acquiescing to in all of its hateful fire. But think about what we consider decent or acceptable behavior anymore from anyone, really? Online, in person, people are really some hateful spiteful things and right now there is no discouragement for that. You can even be elected President being the worst person in the world, that’s the lesson we are all subconsciously realizing.
And that is kind of grosser than gross.
